Have you seen us driving around town in our big ART of Real Estate van?  While the van is a helpful addition to our team for daily business, it’s even more of a useful tool for assisting a few local charities in our community move canned foods and bicycles from point A to point B, a deserving family.  The ART of Real Estate is a proud supporter of the following charities:

The Cooperative Ministry

The Cooperative Ministry is here to provide emergency assistance to those in crisis, providing direct assistance, counseling, guidance and prayer. With the support of generous congregations, individuals and companies in our community, we desire to honor God by reflecting divine compassion for those less fortunate — working hard to lift the Midlands’ working poor out of crisis and poverty.

This organization accepts clothing and household donations. Find out more here.

The Rerun Bicycle Emporium

The Rerun Bicycle Emporium, powered by DOWNTOWN CHURCH is armed with impressively shiny new tools, work benches, and training from our friends at the Cycle Center, the rerun team is ready to repair and restore your bike and repurpose it for good use. For many of us, bicycles are a form of recreation, but for others in our city, they are an affordable mode of transportation. The bus system doesn’t cover much of our city – but when paired with a bike, getting to a job interview, work, or the doctor is possible. To that end, Rerun has partnered with Transitions, a downtown transitional center for the homeless and The Family Shelter.

This organization accepts donations of bikes in any form. Find out more here.

Harvest Hope Food Bank

The mission of Harvest Hope Food Bank is to provide for the needs of hungry people by gathering and sharing quality food with dignity, compassio, and education.
Harvest Hope began in 1981 as the result of a shared vision of business leaders and the faith community who set out to provide for the hungry in Columbia. Since then Harvest Hope has increased its mission to feed the hungry across 20 counties of South Carolina. Harvest Hope distributed over 28 million pounds of food last year and fed approximately 38,000 people a week.

This organization accepts non-perishable food, health/beauty products and cleaning products. Find out more here.
