ABOUT THE AREA
Best defined as the area between I-77 and I-20, the Northeast Area of Columbia includes a number of areas that stretch from Downtown Columbia to Blythewood, Lugoff and Elgin. Thanks to the close proximity to all of the major highways, the Northeast Area has a small city feel just minutes from all of the action. This area of town is newer and continues to grow quickly, with many residents moving here to be close to jobs and to enjoy the suburban lifestyle.
