The St. Patrick's Festival in Five Points, Columbia, South Carolina is like no other. Sure, it isn’t as large as Chicago, or Savannah. But I think the more intimate setting is what makes it magical. We're talking five stages for live music, hundreds of food and beer vendors, a kids area, a 5k run/walk, and VIP lounges strung throughout the event across the entire Five Points district. It is truly a spectacle to witness. Of course, The ART Team got in on the fun. 

What I love most about this Saturday celebration is the parade. You can't miss the sea of green, when when the community lines up and parades through town starting at the intersection of Millwood Avenue and Devine Street, and ending at the Five Points Fountain. It's a perfect time for local businesses, organizations and clubs to come out and support their community, while having a little fun! Picture this: Driving 2 mph down Devine St with Irish music blaring, our agents and staff handing out hundreds of pounds of candy and waving to our neighbors, friends and their little ones on a beautiful spring day. There's nothing like it. 

It's one of those community events that makes The City of Columbia so great. The St. Pat's Festival also happens to be the Midlands’ largest annual street festival and the biggest one-day St. Patrick’s Day celebration in the Southeast! If you’ve never been to this event, make sure to put it on your calendar for next year and come find us. You’ll thank me later.
