One highlight of Jefferson City is that the people take pride in their parks. A popular spot for a relaxing day out is Centennial Park. It's got walking trails and 14 acres of open grass area. Bring the dogs out to the dog park, while the kiddos play on the playground. 

Locals have said they come to the park weekly and often see kids throwing frisbees and flying kites. Fortunately, it's well-maintained by Parks and Rec. You'll find the covered area with picnic tables, clean restrooms, and space to grill out, making it a great spot for the whole family.
